****** Important Notice about License Plate Renewal Stickers ******
 
Due to the state’s budget impasse, the Secretary of State’s office has suspended mailing license plate renewal registration reminders. The office will continue to mail out other items including renewal stickers, titles, and license plates and their offices across the state remain open to assist motorists in person.

Please check your license plate sticker to make sure it has not expired. If it has expired or is about to, you can get a new sticker by visiting a Department of Motor Vehicle’s office near you or by ordering the sticker online using a credit card or check.

To sign up for email reminders of your sticker renewal please go to:
 
You will need a registration ID and PIN number to renew your sticker online and to sign up for reminders. Registration ID and PIN number may be obtained by calling the Secretary of State’s Public Inquiry Division at 800-252-8980.  Please have your license plate number at hand when you call. The best hours to call are 8:00am-10:00am and 2:00pm-4:00pm. Press option 8 to speak to an agent to get your registration ID and PIN. 

If you cannot apply online or in person, you can apply by mail by simply mailing a check with the license plate number or a copy of your old registration to:
